What we Value
We value the heavenly Father. He is our Father and He is good. We value His desires, purposes and love for every person and creature He has made.
We value His Son, Jesus. Since the Father values the Son, we also honor the centrality of Jesus and His cross. The cross is the greatest revelation of the Father and the Son’s love for us and all of creation. Consequently our message is Jesus and Him crucified.
We value the Holy Spirit. We value the freedom, power and gifts of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit has been given to us to glorify Jesus and lead us to the Father. We let the Holy Spirit have His way and be Lord in our fellowship. Our church is zealous to maintain the Spirit of revival it was birthed with and seek God for a fresh revival in our generation.
We value community. We value one another and we are devoted to love one another as Christ loved the church. We value worshipping, praying and fellowshipping together. We also value the unique gifts and callings on each member of the body of Christ - both male and female, young and old, rich and poor. We believe the church is much bigger than our own fellowship and includes sincere believers from many different Christian backgrounds.
We value discipleship. We believe the church is called to be a disciple-making community - committed to teaching everything Jesus taught and faithful to helping each believer reach their full potential in Christ.
We value Jewish people. Before God included the nations in His covenant, He chose the Jews. We honor God’s unique relationship with this often rejected nation. We believe the church is called to love Jewish people and express mercy to them.
We value our nation, other nations and non-believers. We value our nation Australia and its redemptive purpose. We value other nations and support missionary work. We value those who do not believe in Jesus because Jesus valued them and died for them. We desire to reach out and bring God’s restoring love to every person.
